This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to developing media systems and Software Agents to execute technical roles.
Aug 1 -Nov 1, 2024
Full-time, 8 hours/day, hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Software (SW) and Hardware (HW) Architecture and Design sessions delivering a Software Development Kit (SDK) to access all FPGA Hardware functionality.
- From Stereo Audio, through High Definition (HD) and 4K Video Processing, to 12Gbps multi-stream switching.
- Control a system and test it in real-time on vendor demo boards and hardware prototypes.
- Interact with customer closing the loop on all SDK functionality.
Requirements
- C Language development in a Linux embedded platform.
- Understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
- Bring up HW demo boards with their own Linux low-level SDK.
- Currently enrolled as an Engineering or Science Major in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
- or local recent college graduate with school experience in SDK architecture and design.
- Authorized to work in the United States and already living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Availability to come to the downtown Palo Alto, California office as needed to interact with other team members and the HW. We are half a mile from a Caltrain station.
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating and delivering SDKs
- Ability to adapt and learn new software and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive work ethic and collaborative attitude, as confirmed by three professional references.

$26,000 Total.

HW FPGA PAID internship

Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture and design sessions and deliver FPGA hardware blocks.
- Frequencies range from 20 Hz to 25 GHz.
- Deliver complete FPGA bitstreams and test them in real-time on vendor demo boards.
Requirements
- Creating hardware blocks in Verilog 2001.
- Currently enrolled as an Engineering or Science Major in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
- or local recent college graduate with school experience in high-speed FPGA design.
- Authorized to work in the United States and already living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Availability to come to the downtown Palo Alto, California office as needed to deliver the hardware. We are half a mile from a Caltrain station.
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating and validating FPGA projects with external DDR.
- Ability to adapt and learn new software and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive work ethic and collaborative attitude, as confirmed by three professional references.
